2025 Roads Improvement Projects

Traffic impacts and other pertinent information will be posted prior to the start of each of the following 2025 road improvement projects, if applicable. 

Culvert Replacements (Summer - dates to be determined)

• Marionville Road - 0.56 km east of Yorks Corners Road - September 8 - Completed
• Belmeade Road - 0.01 km east of Pioneer Line Road - September 9 and 10 - Completed 
• Belmeade Road - 0.52 km west of Pioneer Line Road - September 11 - Completed
• Gypsy Lane at Steele Branch Municipal Drain - July 23 - Completed
• Kyle Road at Glasgow Municipal Drain - July 21-22 - Completed
• River Road - between civic #12585 and #12615 - July 16-17 - Completed
• Maple Ridge Road between civic #12601 and #12605 - April 24 - Completed
• Maple Ridge Road between civic #12705 and #12717 - May 13 - Completed
• Rodney Lane between civic #1230 and #1249 - May 29-30 - Completed

Paving (Summer - dates to be determined)

• Hyndman Road -  CR43 to Boundary Road (3.9 kms) -Paving will begin September 9th (subject to change due to weather conditions and any unforeseen delays) - Completed
• Nation River Road - CR3 to Edwardsburgh Cardinal/North Grenville Boundary (3.6 kms) - September 4th and 5th  - Completed    
• Maple Ridge Road - CR43 to Belanger Road (2.7 kms) - Paving will begin September 18th (subject to change due to weather conditions and any unforeseen delays) - Completed
• Shaw Road - CR43 to Boundary Road (3.9 kms) - Paving will begin September 10th (subject to change due to weather conditions and any unforeseen delays) - Completed
• Boundary Road - CR43 to Latoureille Rd. (4.3 kms) (includes cross-culvert replacements completed July 15) - week of  August 5 to 8 - Completed
• Belanger Road - CR43 to Gypsy Lane - week of August 5 to 8 - Completed

• John Street, Chesterville - Completed
• Harper Street, Chesterville - Completed

General Road Improvements (Summer - dates to be determined)

• River Road - double-surface treated road will be turned back into gravel and a layer of calcium applied - Nation Valley Bridge to existing gravel. Completed
• Development Road - double-surface treated road will be turned back into gravel and a layer of calcium applied - CR43 to Kerrs Ridge Road. - Completed
• Spruit Road - double-surface treated road will be turned back into gravel and a layer of calcium applied - west side of Quintan Products' entrance to existing gravel.  Completed
• Ormond Road - double-surface treated road will be turned back into gravel and a layer of calcium applied - Bisson Road to Bridge.  Completed

Mowing Program

The mowing program throughout the Township, including long-arm mowing and manual trimming around guardrails, commenced June 3rd.
