July 2024 Update - Installation of playground equipment begins. 

May 2024 Update - James Street Park officially dedicated and renamed the Marilyn Vriend Memorial Park.

January 2024 Update - Play Structure supply and installation awarded to Playground Planners.

November 2023 Update - Two concept design plans for what the James Street Park Playground (Unofficial name) could be are now posted to the documents section. The final playground design may vary from the concept plans. A survey was released this month to gather feedback from the community on which concept design plan they prefer, this survey is now closed. More updates coming soon.
